Second Band: Ben Mauger's Vintage Jazz Band, travelling from PA
The Vintage Jazz Band is lead by Harrisburg
area cornet/trumpet man Ben Mauger and features
some of the finest Traditional Jazz Players from the
Keystone state. The band plays the Hot Jazz of the
early Jazz age, Dixieland Jazz favorites, as well as
some NY style traditional Jazz swing. Ben is a known
musician in our area from his guest appearances at
our PRJC monthly jam session, where he has played
both as a jammer, and as a substitute for Dave Robinson
with the house band. Their performance at this year's picnic was again spectacular!
